  • Certain blood tests for monitoring of chronic conditions and medication can be booked directly with the nurse.

  • We have a lab delivery on a Tuesday and Thursday at lunchtime, so blood tests are booked for these mornings. f you attend for a blood test outside of these times you will be asked to either delivery the samples to the lab in Letterkenny or return at another time for the blood test.

Telephone consultations

Most issues are best dealt with via a face to face appointment. Face-to-face GP appointments are longer, more comprehensive, higher in quality and create more trust between a patient and doctor than telemedicine. Extensive research reveals that telemedicine reduces elements of care, information exchange and consultation time leading to consequences for overall care.

Certain single-issue or follow up consultations may be suitable for telephone consultations.
